Dear FACCNE Members and Friends,
As President of the Board of FACCNE, I am pleased to introduce this revamped version of our newsletter, which will be published monthly. We hope it will help you save the dates for our upcoming events as well as learn about news related to the French-American Business Community in New England.
During the summer we built an exciting program for the 2015/2106 season and have prepared over 50 events for you to attend. These include our signature events (such as the Annual Business Award Ceremony, the Business Forum, and the Beaujolais Nouveau), events organized by our Forums (such as the French American Biotechnology Springboard or FABS, the FACCNE's Women in Business Network or FWBN, and the IT Forum), and the different events co-organized with our local partners. We are confident that you will find dozens of opportunities to learn, share and network. I would like to specifically highlight a new series of breakfast events that we call the "Meet the Expert" series. Each of them will feature one expert sharing her/his expertise on a specific subject with a small audience, followed by Q&A. The first event is planned for December, so stay tuned for more details.
Naturally none of this would be possible without our dedicated new team that Ludivine Wolczik, our Executive Director, has put together to assist you. Do not hesitate to contact them for any support requests or questions you might have.
I also want to inform you that the new Consul General of France, Valery Freland, joined the FACCNE Board. He succeeds Fabien Fieschi who went to Japan for a new assignment. On behalf of the Board, I want to take this opportunity to thank Fabien Fieschi for his support over the past three years.
A final note to remind you that the Chamber is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year and we will soon be sharing our plans to celebrate this important milestone.
We appreciate your membership in FACCNE and look forward to your continued support in the coming year. We hope to see you at our events and hope that you take advantage of the benefits your membership brings you
